Like Father Like Son: Treason: An Aquino Family Tradition

June 16, 2014 – Like Father Like Son: Treason: An Aquino Family Tradition

“Who controls the past, controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.”    -George Orwell, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Book 1, Chapter 3 (1949)

Happy Father’s Day! Every parent would want their children to take care of themselves and their loved ones. That’s what my parents taught me. And I’m doing exactly that for Father’s Day.

Please understand here in the U.S. unlike mainland Native Americans we pay federal and state taxes. And the so-called Philippine government is also charging us real estate taxes on the property my parents bought with their hard-earned money. This after they’ve taken my ancestors’ lands. This is grossly unfair. I demand an exemption here and the Philippines.

Then I came across this article with an excerpt of a letter Aquino Jr. wrote to his son Aquino III

First, for carrying the name – Benigno Simeon Aquino III, PNoy keeps in mind his father’s letter given to him in 1973.

“The only valuable asset I can bequeath to you now is the name you carry. I have tried my best during my years of public service to keep that name untarnished and respected.  I now pass on to you, as good, I pray, as when my father, your grandfather  (Aquino Sr.) passed it on to me.”

President Benigno Aquino III is stretching the truth way too much. Perhaps he is living in a parallel universe where treachery is a virtue.

Had Aquino Sr. and Manuel A. Roxas Sr. been kept out of politics after WWII for collaborating with the enemy, would their grandchildren Aquino III and Roxas II, be the leaders of the Philippines today?

This is not about Nazis and Japanese war criminals or the nuclear bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

This is about the former U.S. territory, the Philippines that came under Japanese occupation and the Japanese collaborators emerging victorious after World War II.

This is about the double standard the U.S. is using when it comes to the Philippines and my people; it’s about prejudice and discrimination STILL GOING ON! Why did the victorious Allies tried, convicted and executed Nazi collaborators while Japanese collaborators in the Philippines ended up in power after WWII?

Look at the Philippines they have NEVER even held a single Leyte Landing memorial or Liberation Day parade or VJ Day celebration whatsoever. What’s up with that?

Nazi collaborators Vidkun Quisling of Norway and Pierre Laval of France were tried, convicted and executed for high treason. In the Philippines the Japanese collaborators WERE REWARDED with the high posts – the presidency.

The fact remains that in Europe pro-Nazi quislings & traitors of World War II were tried, convicted AND EXECUTED like Vidkun Quisling of Norway & Pierre Laval of France got.

In the Philippines grandchildren of oligarch-traitors are now leaders of the Philippines. IF THIS IS NOT DISCRIMINATION, I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS.

Pierre Laval, Hitler’s man in France tried to cheat the executioner. He took the cyanide pill he stashed. Unfortunately the cyanide was old and just gave him a stomach ache.

The French pumped the poison out of his system and when he was well again, Pierre Laval was executed on Oct. 15, 1945.

The way Filipinos are treated is racial DISCRIMINATION PURE AND SIMPLE.

Pierre Laval during his trial 1945

How did enemy collaborators ended up in power in the Philippines after WWII? Fortunately Manuel A. Roxas Sr. conveniently excluded his own name from the list of suspected enemy collaborators.

So when Pres. Roxas himself signed the general amnesty Proc. 51 on Jan. 28, 1948, he was also excluded! This means he could still be charged and tried for treason posthumously! Yes!

Here’s Vidkun Quisling’s execution on youtube. He was a major in the Norwegian Army and staged a Nazi-supported coup d’ etat forcing the King of Norway to leave. At the end of the war, he was offered to escape but chose to OWN UP TO HIS DEEDS. Convicted of treason, he was executed. Happy Fathers’ Day to you all, descendants of collaborators included. (Until we officially rename the Philippines, the Philippines, after HRH Philip Duke of Edinburgh, we will ALSO refer to the Philippines as “Sparta Muna”. Know that everyone even messengers & especially the press will be held accountable for the words of his/her voice.)

Again consider my offer: Leave us and our ancestral lands alone.  Put up your own Republic of Hacienda Luisita and Roxas II his own Republic of Panay-Taksil.

Blog Roxas oligarch-traitor becomes president p1Roxas accused of treason - Sept. 1946

When Marcos declared Martial Law in 1972 he arrested all of his political opponents including Aquino Jr. who was suspected of being a communist supporter and the mastermind of the Plaza Miranda bombing on Aug. 21, 1971. Released to seek medical treatment, later decided to return on Aug. 21, 1983 he was shot and killed after being taken into custody upon his arrival at the airport.

“But others are claiming Aquino III, whose parents are known communist supporters, of bias because his mother Cory Aquino, ordered the release of top communist leaders in 1986 including the people behind the Aug. 21, 1971 Plaza Miranda bombing of a political rally where nine people were killed, including a five-year old child. Ironically, the father of his close political ally Roxas II was also a victim but survived the bombing.

Aquino II, who was gunned down on August 21, 1983 was implicated in the Plaza Miranda bombing. But no investigation whatsoever was conducted as to why Cory Aquino ordered the release of the suspected mastermind of the [attack on] the political rally of her husband’s own party.

Still it is amazing how the World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank (ADB) whose president is always a Japanese, and the UN continue to recognize the Republic of the Philippines as a member-country in good standing from 1946 and 1966 in the case of ADB. Past and present officers and employees of these four international organizations involved in the Philippines should be tried for crimes against humanity.

JE comments: Wow, to follow politics in the Philippines, one needs a family tree diagram, like the ones they insert in dynastic novels.

Immediately after grabbing power from Marcos in 1986, Cory Aquino as head of the revolutionary government discarded the 1973 constitution and ordered the drafting of the 1987 Constitution still selectively in effect today.

Now let us compare the 1973 and 1987 Philippine Constitution’s definition of Article I National Territory and you will notice the territories belonging to the Philippines “by historic or legal title,” has been omitted in the 1987 Constitution.

1973 CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES

ARTICLE I – The National Territory

Section 1. The national territory comprises the Philippine archipelago, with all the islands and waters embraced therein, and all the other territories belonging to the Philippines BY HISTORIC OR LEGAL TITLE, including the territorial sea, the air space, the subsoil, the sea-bed, the insular shelves, and the submarine areas over which the Philippines has sovereignty or jurisdiction. The waters around, between, and connecting the islands of the archipelago, irrespective of their breadth and dimensions, form part of the internal waters of the Philippines.

After amending the constitution to cater to the demands of a foreign country, then Pres. Cory Cojuangco Aquino proceeded to rid the Philippines of the U.S. military bases and facilitate China’s take over of the oil, gas and mineral rich Spratlys. In Pres. Obama & Aquino III’s joint press conference last April 28, 2014, when the South China Sea dispute was raised  Pres. Obama failed to mention the 25 TRILLION CU. METERS in NATURAL GAS RESERVES (900 TRILLION CU. FT.)  in the Spratlys area according to the U.S. EIA (Energy Information Administration) .

“Aquino III: *That (prosperity of our respective people) I think has to be the primordial concern, RATHER THAN DISPUTES ON A FEW ROCKS THAT ARE NOT POSSIBLE TO BE INHABITED.  And I think in due time, given the fact that there’s so much commerce that traverses this particular — both in the maritime and the air domain — China, which has achieved its goals of improving the life of its people, will see the soundness of this proposal and perhaps will act more, shall we say, consistently and actively towards achieving that stability for all.  That is our hope.”
